Inspiring photos of Nordic style terraces
We never tire of talking to you about nordic stylewhich at DecorAU is the one we like the most. We are used to seeing it in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms… However, it is not so common to see it on terraces, although the truth is that we can also decorate them following its main guidelines.
If you have one terrace or a balcony and you want it to be the most scandi If possible, I recommend taking a look at all the images shown in this article, as I think they are quite inspiring and can help you create your own version.
8 fantastic proposals
This first terrace, which is more of a balcony that is quite generous in terms of space, uses the most used material in Nordic decoration, which is none other than wood. The table and chairs set, by the way, is sold at IKEA for only 45.97 euros, so it is one of the most economical proposals that we can find on the market.
From this photo I would also like to highlight that they have used flowers and that the cushions are natural colors. There are also a couple of rugs that complete the decoration.
This second terrace is not as Nordic as the previous one. Both the table and the chairs are metallic and red, so it gives the impression that there is a more industrial style part and there is another Nordic part, which is the seat with wooden slats that each accommodate several neutral toned cushions.
I would say that this terrace is the most Nordic of all the ones I have collected. It is as if they had taken the typical Scandi decoration of a room to the outside. I say it for the cushions, for the shaggy rugs and for that white triangular table so appropriate. I also really liked the detail of the candle holder between the sofa and the table with the stools.
This other terrace is between the Nordic and the sailor. It has white and blue cushions, but it also has other more neutral cushions. The five-seater corner sofa is made of rattan, so we are talking about a natural material that has the approval of the creators of the Nordic style.
This is a proposal that IKEA launched a couple of summers ago. As a reference of the Nordic style, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to show it to you so that you can set up something very similar on your terrace. I like the choice of the cushions, that there is vegetation and that we see blue and white garlands. The lanterns are also noticeable.
Let’s go with another balcony that is very well used. In this case the objective is not to enjoy the outdoors to eat, but rather it is more focused on relaxationto disconnection. The plants, which give continuity to what is seen outside, are placed in very appropriate pots. The cushion is beautiful.
On this other terrace the plaids They are the great protagonists. Not only are they used to decorate, but they can also serve as a coat at any given time. The two cushions that we can see match the plants that surround the space on all four sides.
I finish with this terrace that fuses the Nordic style with the Mediterranean. The blue and gray tones allow us to talk about a very refreshing decoration, while its simplicity and that round mirror located in the center are a sign that we are facing another Scandi proposal.
